I found out early on in my life I had a gift. The gifts of creativity, talent, and design, and by using these gifts, I shaped myself into the artist I am today. Although I love working with paints, inks, and many other media, the computer is my tool of choice. I find I connect with this giant calculator in ways I do not with other media. Yes, a computer can be somewhat limiting, but I find so many different ways to create art. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Maya 3D, and Dreamweaver are just a few of the tools I love to work with. I incorporate my values into the my work with the use of design. I can be conservative or liberal with my designs, depending upon how appropriate my feelings and values fit the work. I can feel when a piece of work is unfinished. I know a work is complete when I feel comfortable with the way it looks and feels. Overall, art is a huge part of my life. I love the way my art makes viewers feel and respond. |
